Taking some of the original design features from our first-ever DLG, the SideWinder, and applying the advances in DLG technology and design that we’ve gathered from the XP-series of DLG, we’ve come up with the SideWinder II. An excellent entry-level, competition-ready DLG that is easy to build and hard to get out of the sky!

Two Layer of 0.7oz bias fiberglass and carbon reinforcment over sturdy high load foam.
AIRFOILS
Dr. Mark Drela’s cutting-edge AG series, specifically the AG455-46-47 blended airfoil used on our wildly popular XP-3 series.
FUSELAGE, BOOM and TAILS
Carbon fiber with fiberglass fuselage with lots of room for gear! Same tailboom and tails as the XP-series.
