Gooood morning! Wind is blowing back to the trees. Many land-outs already. Denny turned the 2x3minute last two flights tasks into 2x4minute flights! Good times. Might go 4 or 5 today.

Doug Pike just buried me in Round 4! Denny has proclaimed him “The Grim Reaper”. We also had some issues with the pig-turning motor, but those have been remedied with a hot-wind CD-ROM motor.

Goooood morning! Listening to the pilot’s meeting – we’re using a lot of new F3K-style rules this year, so naturally there are a lot of questions, like: can I hit someone on launch? No. can I hit someone on landing? Sure! But you’ll take a 100-point hit. We’ve got a lot of new faces here, which is great. Doug Pike from Canadia brought down Ivan McKenzie, a control-line champ from up North. He’s already grabbed some handlaunch honors up there, but Doug’s brought him up (or down?) to the big show. Walt brought up Tauno Knuuttila (originally from Finland) and we’ve got Tony Merritt and Lorry Green from sunny Britain have been hanging out since Tuesday.

Fluffy Update: Wheels are turning, gears are grinding, the pig is on the spit!

Hi guys! Sorry I’ve been busy! Didn’t get up until 9AM… then was helping out a first-timer with some repairs… and then I got roped into CD’ing the 1st Annual Pro-Am! That just now wrapped up after four rounds. Four rounds, 14 teams! Official Scores here: 2007PolecatProAm.xls. Congrats to Shane Spickler and Todd Griffin who won! Hopefully more time to update tomorrow! Later! –ben
