The Main Event

The Polecat Challenge is the premier east-coast handlaunch glider contest. Last year we drew 50 pilots from around the country - with names like Mark Drela, Joe Wurts, Phil Barnes, Oleg Golovidov, Bruce Davidson and many, many more. And while we were very happy all the big guys showed up - nearly HALF of the registrants were Sportsman or Novice Class! If you are new to soaring, handlaunch or contest, this is the place to be.

The contest on Saturday and Sunday is a standard man-on-man handlaunch contest! This year, we are introducing the newly-announced international F3K contest tasks. Don’t know what that means? Don’t worry! There will be plenty of Pros to help out the Amateurs.
