Unfortunate news, and hopes for the future.

Customers and friends. It appears that old age and health issues have finally caught up with the old Polecat! In November they will take my leg apart for the 6th time in 3-1/2 years. I will once again be left without knee hardware for 3 months. I’m either going to come out of that with my 5th replacement knee or only one leg. No guarantees either way. This forces me to take a long hard look at what I will really be able to get done in the future. I have decided to scale back the operation a bit. Two of my primary planes that have been tough for me to get done, the XP-5 and the EZBD have been passed on to other folks where they should once again be available.
Polecat will continue to produce the SideWinder II series of DLG’s and of course the Lapdancer and WindDancer electric sailplanes along with Guppys, Push-E-cats, etc. I can no longer work 7 days a week and long days. I’ve had 3 major surgeries since January and that will pretty much take the “tough” right out of you!
The XP-5 will be available from a young man named Dan Stang – you can contact him here: rts.readytosoar@yahoo.com
The EZBD will be available from Mark Miller at isthmusmodels.com.
